Held hostage on my phone no longer

Ready for a nap

There's nothing like hosting something at your house to get you kicked into project mode and get all of the things you'd hoped to accomplish in 6 months completed in less than 2.  Big changes to the outside of our house (all new landscaping, new patio, fresh coat of paint) that have me reflecting on how much we have done to our little old house in the last 2 1/2 years.

These DIYers are freaking tired. I promised John some time off after working his ass off for the last few weeks but knowing we just have 2 projects left to get us to where we want to be (bathroom remodel and new entryway) has me itching to cross those off of my to do list.

Twinsies

My bestest friend is having twins and we got to celebrate the babes this weekend.  These two lucky kiddos are already so loved.  And their mama is just about the most sickeningly gorgeous pregnant woman there ever was.  I was too busy hosting to take many shots, but did manage to get a few.  We are so excited for Cole and Bob and cannot wait to meet these munchkins.  Sloane's excited to have more younger kids to boss around. Hazel can't wait to meet her new besties.  I'm hoping for boys so my girls can marry them one day.

Good food
I got crafty.  One of these days I'll get around to making something for my own kids.
The game - where in Seattle are the baby shoes.  Nicki took pictures of them at different places special to Cole and Bob.

Miss Sloane

Some days I think she'll be one of the cool kids when she grows up....

Other days I have my doubts...
I love her little chipmunk grin but my gorgeous girl got my giant teeth so we're already saving for braces...
But at least we won't be spending any money on perms.
