We started the wonderful tradition of visiting the pumpkin patch this weekend with a trip to way-the-hell-out-there, WA. I'd been looking forward to it for weeks and made an attempt to teach Sloane to say "pumpkin patch". Though she didn't quite get it, she certainly was excited to be sporting her new rain boots. Cole, Bob, and Nicki joined us - yay! We fueled for the day with breakfast at the Maltby Cafe (I'd never been - yum) and then headed to a nearby patch, which was awesome. We watched all of the crazy kids, played with the animals, visited the gift shop, rode on hay bales out to the patch, picked our pumpkins, and got really, really dirty. Then headed home and got to carving. Oh, and we took a ton of pictures. It was one of those oh so perfect days.
Huge thanks to our official photographer, Nicki.
