God Bless America

We celebrated the 4th in true American style with good company, too much food, and cold beer.

Sloane had a little too much fun crawling through her cousin's sidewalk art and was completely covered in chalk.

She is her father's daughter.  These two nutcases are two peas in a pod.

Snuggles from mama.

Decked out in our red, white, and blue.

Sloane loves her cousins.

We were home and in bed just in time to watch the fireworks on tv - perfect.

Happy Birthday Gus

Pow!  We celebrated Gus's 4th birthday in true superhero style!

The birthday boy, on a mission.

Everyone got a cape.

Defending the back yard from evil.

We even had some princess superheroes.

Snuggle bunny

Caught Sloane snuggling her stuffed animal during her nap the other day.  She is a great spooner, just like her dad.

Oh, Sloane

You are nuts.  And we love you.

In bloom

The lady that lived here before us planted all sorts of crazy stuff so we never know what's going to bloom next.  We've been enjoying all of the colors in our yard.  All photos courtesy of John.  Seriously.  He disappeared outside one evening to photograph the yard.  One of the many reason I love him...always keeps you guessing.

The girl's got mad skills

She's barely 1 but I'm pretty sure she's gonna dominate on the court.  Palming the disney ball like it's no big deal.  At this point, it's probably the giant hands and not athletic prowess, but we can hope.

Happy Birthday Owen!

Sloane's cousin turned 2 and celebrated with a cowboy themed party.  Yee-haw!

Happy Birthday, Owen!
