Sloane's streak of being the raddest baby alive continues (not that I'm partial or anything) and her 11th month was quite entertaining. The only time our girl would sit still was when she battled a nasty bug mid-month...other than that she has been constantly on the move. I miss the days of snuggling my little girl, but I have to admit that watching her constantly roll, crawl or just generally spaz around is pretty hilarious. She's quite speedy with her army crawl and is starting to pull herself up on things.
She still loves to say da-da-da-da over and over. It drives this ma-ma-ma-ma crazy. When she gets really excited she flaps her arms like she's trying to fly and lets out low pitched grunts - it's quite special. She's also added some higher pitched squeaks to her repertoire.

We've tried lots of new food and are doing less and less of the mushy baby foods and moving into the big kid foods - chicken nuggets, anyone? Cooper is thrilled with the new developments in the kitchen and likes it even more now that Sloane signals she is done with her meal by flinging whatever is left in front of her off the side of the table. We're working on our sign language.

Sloane's been wearing 18 month sized clothes for a while and is starting to sneak into some 24 month pieces. She definitely will not be shopping in the petite section at any point in her life. Lots of waving, constant clapping, and she started to give high fives this month. She very generous with her kisses and loves to play with her (many) toys but is happiest when she gets her hands on the remote.
Happy 11 month birthday, buttercup. We love you and can't wait for the big 1!

Ha, ha, ha! That is hilarious! And on the other end of the spectrum, little Cam Cam is still wearing 6 month clothes! Guess they won't be swaping wardrobes!
