Auntie Joia came armed with a box full of donuts...she knows what she's doing!

Leo and Sandy, aka Papa and Grandma came to meet their 7th grandchild

Uncle Ben and Aunt Amy came by (but we failed to get a photo of Amy and Sloane)

Brian and Greg came armed with some Husky gear for Sloane

Getting her hearing tested and, of course, passing with flying colors

Dad, the self proclaimed baby whisperer, testing some of the 5 S's after Sloane's first bath.

My best girls (Nicki, Andrea, Jenny, and Nicole) with John and Miss S.

Nikka and Mayson stopped by. Mayson was thrilled to finally meet her new cousin and couldn't stop yelling "Baby Sloane!" She even brought Sloane a stuffed dog "Cooper" just like her own. Mimi also came by, but again, no photo :(

Aunt Amy, Uncle Jason and cousins Jonah and Gus came by. The boys were so cute with her.

And our final visitors of the day, Uncle Adam, Auntie Melissa, Lucy, and Owen.

Finally, momma gets her girl back!

We managed to get at least a little bit of sleep that night in the middle of all the check ins from the nurses, trying to breastfeed, and general chaos of a newborn. The second day was much quieter than the first. After getting cleared by all of the necessary docs, we finally were able to head home about 6 pm.
A few photos from day 2:

Leaving the hospital

What the hell is going on?

It is wonderful to be home! Many more pictures to come.

So cute. You guys are officially a family now.
Sounds like it was an ideal delivery with lots of love to welcome her into the world.
