Shun

I’m ashamed to admit it but this morning I shunned (ala Dwight Schrute) my own daughter. Daycare is closed this week so Sloane is at camp grandma and grandpa. Monday/Tuesday with my mom (and Bobba when he gets home early) and Wednesday/Thursday with Sandy and Leo. I love how much Sloane loves her grandparents. But I will also admit that I not so secretly loved it when Sloane started to exhibit separation anxiety and cried whenever I left the room. Unfortunately/fortunately that didn’t last long. Apparently Sloane had a great time with my mom yesterday because she pretty much dove into Mimi’s arms from mine when we met at Starbucks this morning. Then when my mom handed her back to me to pay for coffee Sloane started to cry. Heartbreak.

Luckily, we made up when she got home today. Un-shun.
