I think this could become a series now that John has a job that affords him access to nice, but sometimes weird, materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill. He's already planning a split-level playhouse/shed in the backyard with all the lumber (next summer please - we have enough projects to finish up now). He pulled up today and was pleased as punch with this sucker. It's an old storefront sign/emblem. I was wary at first, but he's got a ton of cool ideas so we'll see what happens. Stay tuned...
By the way, Sloane's tree is blooming quite nicely.
